Our Client is seeking an Intermediate Infrastructure Team Lead to support operational infrastructure including CMDB and ensuring ITIL standards.
This role requires onsite work 5 days a week in Edmonton. This may be a contract to hire or perm position.

Must Haves:
- 5+ years as an Infrastructure Operations Team Lead with a broad technical expertise across multiple infrastructure technologies.
- Experience in developing and maintaining infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Experience in creating and maintaining architecture and design standards for IT infrastructure components
- Experience implementing and enforcing ITIL
- Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical direction and leadership for the IT infrastructure practice, aligning it with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Develop and communicate a clear technical vision for the future of the IT infrastructure to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Actively participate in the Solution Review Board, providing technical expertise and guidance on proposed solutions and initiatives.
- Offer technical advisory services to internal teams and stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions regarding infrastructure technologies and implementations.
- Validate vendor proposed designs and solutions, ensuring they align with organizational requirements and standards.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business objectives, outlining future initiatives and technology enhancements.
- Optimize current technologies and processes to enhance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of IT infrastructure operations.
- Create and maintain reference architecture and standards for IT infrastructure components, ensuring consistency, scalability, and interoperability.
- Establish guidelines and best practices for infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to address complex infrastructure challenges and optimize performance.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform infrastructure strategy and decision-making.
- Offer technical architectural leadership, designing and validating scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) configuration and process.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL or similar frameworks to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Maintain compatibility across all technologies within the IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT infrastructure initiatives with broader organizational objectives and initiatives.
