Our valued client is seeking an Intermediate Deskside Support Technician to support end computing, network, telephony, and account issues


An initial 12-month contract (possible extension). On-site work in Montreal, QC


Responsibiltiies:

  • Desktop support responsible for end user computing, network, telephony and account issues.
  • Maintain & Support AV equipment in conference rooms and support additional audio/video requirements for events including town-hall meetings, VTC support and webcasts.
  • Printer support.
  • Windows OS installation, test and deploy windows images to systems.
  • Software installation & support
  • Ensure IT practices are completed in accordance with Security practices.
  • IT purchase requisitioning.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of computer hardware and other IT equipment.


Must Have Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Deskside Support Technician
  • Experience with Windows operating systems
  • Experience supporting audio/visual


Nice to Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in both English and French languages
  • Experience performing adds/moves/changes with Cisco VoIP or private branch exchange (PBX) systems
  • Experience providing IT support in a production environment (in addition to general office IT)
