Our client is looking for an Intermediate Deskside Support Analyst to cover 2 end clients from 1pm-5pm (Part-Time), 3 days a week ongoing in Edmonton [Onsite; Edmonton Area].

Must Have's:

  • 4+ years of experience providing Desktop support
  • Experience with providing:
  • end user support,
  • laptop/desktop hardware and windows support
  • mobile devices
  • printers and peripherals
  • installed applications
  • Hands and feet for tier 2 or tier 3 support



Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting business applications (including standard and complex applications)
  • Installations
  • Potentially handling vendor support calls when needed
  • Imaging laptops/desktops
  • Hands and feet for tier 3 support
  • Network cable exchanges
  • Local access to network
  • Server or storage to assist the other support teams with
  • Rebooting devices
  • Installation or removal of components (following Tier 3 instructions)
  • Coordinating with Trace IT team for activities
  • Ticket management with good details
  • Speaking with other deskside resources to coordinate or troubleshoot issues
  • Customer service is keys
  • Professional demeanor
  • Soft touch with users
  • Speaking calmly and positively responsive to requests
  • Providing timelines and understanding priority
  • Work with team lead for updates and escalations
  • Work with site manager for updates and escalations
