Our utilities client is seeking an Intermediate Compliance Project Manager to support initiatives within the Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and Cybersecurity programs - 21807


Initially a 12-months contract. Hybrid working model in Burnaby, BC. 37.5 hours/week.


The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and tracking projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, and supporting cross-functional collaboration across technical and compliance teams. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.


Must Have:

- 5+ years Project Manager in a corporate or government setting.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on tracking progress, risks, and deliverables.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience working in regulated environments or with compliance-driven programs.

- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, or similar platforms).


Nice to Have:

- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.

- Experience in cybersecurity, particularly in Operational Technology (OT) environments.

- Familiarity with NERC CIP standards or other regulatory standards.

- Understanding of Structured Decision Making (SDM) methodologies.

- Experience conducting or supporting compliance audits, root cause analysis, and Extent of Condition (EOC) reviews.

- Knowledge of risk management and issue tracking processes in a compliance or cybersecurity context.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and compliance.

- Ability to analyze complex problems, synthesize information, and present actionable recommendations.

- Familiarity with change management and stakeholder engagement best practices.
