Description
Our enterprise crown corporation client is looking for an intermediate Intermediate B2C Trade Marketing Specialist to be responsible for informing and executing on retail trade marketing strategies. Core responsibilities focus on facilitating the end-to-end development and execution of creative assets for programs, initiatives and offers within strategic partners within Lottery in collaboration with Enterprise Marketing.
6-month contract starting in mid-late September
full time hours 37.5 / week
hybrid (1-2 days a week on site) at office near Renfrew skytrain station (travel to office / parking at consultant's own expense)
Able to travel to other sites of business
Must Have Skills:
- 3+ years recent, related experience in consumer trade marketing/customer marketing
- Experience in marketing, advertising, and branding, with a strong emphasis in the area of retail marketing.
- Proven experience in agency management (advertising, media, experiential, merchandizing).
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, Adobe, web-based programs);
- University degree or diploma in a related discipline such as business or marketing (combo of more experience with less education will be considered)
Nice to Haves:
- Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience
- Understanding of B.C. gaming industry
JOB DUTIES
- In lock step with Key Account team, drives the implementation of the Lottery trade marketing strategy in collaboration with all Omni Marketing, Lottery Product, Field Sales, and Operational Teams.
- Accountable the end-to-end development of promotional creative assets, operational logistical plans, and in trade activation for Key Account initiatives. Become liaison between creative resources (internally & externally), Operations, Channel and Key Account team.
- Coordinates the execution of the Lotto Express retail strategy in collaboration with Lottery Op and field sales teams
- Collects, manages, and maintains Key Account partner promotional capabilities such as partner promotional calendars, creative assets, creative spec sheets etc. Disseminates key info to internal stakeholders.
- Identifies opportunities to improve process within Lottery Ops to ensure smooth planning and execution of all retail promotions.
- Provides key insights and recommendations to the Manager, Trade Marketing regarding opportunities to evolve tactics, improve results, or generate incremental revenues.
- Proactively stays on top of retail industry trends. Shares best practices and insights across the business.
