Description
S.i. Systems international client is building 50+ new ships over the coming years, with many that are built and in operation. They are seeking a Project Manager to continue to work on the office infrastructure components of every ship. The program began in 2022 and now the processes and vendors are fairly well defined. Job title is: HYBRID - Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee infrastructure projects on international vessels - server rooms, networks, fiber, firewalls, cyber security
1 year contract - target start date of June 1 to overlap with outgoing PM who is taking time off for personal reasons.
Hybrid, 2 - 3 days / week onsite in downtown Vancouver office
full time hours, up to 40 / week
Some vessels are in international ports (China, Mumbai, others); the ideal candidate is able to accommodate flexible hours on occasion
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- 10+ years project management experience, specializing in infrastructure components such as server rooms, networks, fiber, firewalls, cyber security, satellite communications, endpoints.
AI may be used in evaluating candidates.
