Change Management Specialist support cybersecurity project with client in public sector

Location: Hamilton, ON

Work Model: 2 Days Onsite Mandatory (Tues/Weds) / following week 3 days/week

Hours: 35/Week

Contract: 3-4 months + possibility of extension

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Support the planning and execution of change initiatives within the cybersecurity program.
• Drive stakeholder communication and adoption strategies for new processes/tools.
• Monitor progress, manage resistance, and report on adoption metrics.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption.

Must-Haves:

• Prosci Certification (or equivalent) - demonstrates knowledge of change frameworks without requiring on-the-job training.
• 2-3 successful change management implementations in IT or Cybersecurity environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to create adoption-focused materials and support end-user readiness.

Plusses:

• Experience in the public sector or on large-scale cyber initiatives (e.g., breach response).
• Ability to quickly adapt in high-demand environments where team members have multiple priorities.
