S.i. Systems crown corp client is seeking a Sr Business Analyst with experience transition System Monitoring Tools to support decommissioning of SolarWinds Orion monitoring.

3 month contract, with potential extension - start date dependent on selection timeline and candidate's availability

37.5 hours / week (8am - 5pm approx)

Must be BC based to report occasionally to office in Kamloops or Vancouver (Virtual Way office near Renfrew skytrain)

Most days will be REMOTE work

MUST HAVE SKILLS

• 8+ years experience as a Senior Business Analyst, with public sector experience preferred
• Some experience with a system monitoring tools transition project, categorizing items that can cease to be monitored vs those that need to be transitioned to Dynatrace or other viable option

NICE TO HAVE

• IIBA CBAP cert

This engagement will support in decommissioning of our SolarWinds Orion monitoring tool. Extensive stakeholder engagement will be required to understand current items monitored, the use cases, impacted users, and related business rules. Further work with IT teams will be required to categorize findings into items that can cease to be monitored versus those that will need to be transitioned to Dynatrace or another viable option.

Migration of all areas related to typical performance monitoring activities will already be transitioned to a new tool. This role will address discovery and understanding of all other activities on the current system to evaluate transition needs and requirements.
