Current Shift: 12:11pm- 1:26pm Monday to Friday
10 months per year while regular classes are in session
Pay Rate: $24.81
End Date: June 25, 2025. Opportunities exist to apply on internal job postings or work on-call for the 2025-26 school year.
JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION
Student Monitor
SUMMARY
Under minimum supervision of a teacher or Administrator(s), monitors students at a school location or at a crosswalk.
DUTIES
- Ensures student safety at school crosswalks
- Monitors students before, during or after school
- Completes discipline reports
- Dispenses first aid supplies (e.g. band aids, ice packs)
- Reports traffic violations
* Performs other assigned duties that are within the area of knowledge and skills required by the job
description.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 10
- Six months related experience
- Relevant skills working with school age children
- Level One First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
