Richmond School District operates 37 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, alternate programs, continuing education and a number of additional facilities. The district enrolls approximately 22,000 students (K-12) and employs over 3000 dedicated staff.

The Richmond School District is now accepting applications for both elementary and secondary TTOC's.

For applicants that are applying prior to completing the Education program, please provide as much of the application as you can. If you are asked to submit a document that you are waiting to receive (like practicum reports), please submit an entry (a pdf of a document) that includes the date you expect to submit this document.

Required Qualifications include:

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor of Education.
  • Successful student teaching experience.
  • Certified or eligible for certification with the Ministry of Education - Teacher Regulation Branch.
  • Registration or eligible for registration with Teacher Qualification Service (TQS).

Application portfolios must include the following documentation:

  • Cover letter
  • Resume
  • Final Practicum reports from both Faculty and School Associates (may follow later)
  • Academic transcripts (including undergrad; (may follow later)

Compensation:

Salary as per Teacher's Collective Agreement current salary range is $65,074.00 to $109,520.00 annually plus a comprehensive benefits package.
