CASUAL - ADMINISTRATIVE / CLERICAL POSITIONS

The Langley School District is situated on the traditional unceded territories of the Matsqui, Kwantlen, Katzie, and Semiahmoo First Nations. POSTING DETAILS

  • Position Casual - Administrative and Clerical positions
  • Start Date As soon as possible (flexible)
  • Compensation - Differs by specific position covering ($27.94 to $35.10 per hour)
  • Location Varied



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 graduation including/supplemented by typing (60 wpm) and general office procedures

  • 1 to 2 years related experience (Bookkeeping/Accounting, Database Management)

  • Excellent telephone, presentation, organization, and computer skills are essential

  • Ability to work with constant interruptions and to meet deadlines

  • Effective communication skills and ability to use tact in the routine exchange or provision of information

  • Good knowledge of Business English, punctuation and spelling

  • This position is subject to mandatory training dates, to be scheduled in March of 2026. Successful candidates must be fully available for all 3 days of training, in order to accept employment.
