Position Title: Elementary Vice Principal Job Status: Full-Time

As a key division of the Society, Regent Christian Online Academy (RCOA) specializes in partnering with home-learning families to provide a flexible, high-quality K-12 education. We bring the RCAS mission to life as a Provincial Online Learning School, offering innovative onsite and virtual programming across British Columbia. Reports to: Principal
Supervises: Assistant Director of Elementary, Assistant Director of Elementary Programming, Home Learning Support Teachers, Onsite and Virtual Teachers and Instructors.
Overview: The Elementary Vice Principal provides strategic leadership for the K-7 program, ensuring academic excellence aligns with BC Ministry standards and the school’s Christ-centered mission. This role focuses on staff mentorship, instructional quality, and fostering strong relationships across onsite and virtual communities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Spiritual Leadership
- Model vibrant faith and provide spiritual mentorship to staff and students.
- Integrate faith-based values into curriculum and school-wide initiatives (chapels, devotions).
2. Instructional Leadership
- Oversee K-7 curriculum to ensure Ministry compliance and biblical integration.
- Lead teacher evaluations, professional growth cycles, and instructional coaching.
- Manage assessment standards, LMS consistency, and FSA coordination.
3. Relational Leadership
- Serve as a bridge between the school and families through proactive communication.
- Facilitate staff connections via orientations and virtual meetings.
- Support teachers in managing student behavioral and academic concerns.
4. Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with the Admin Team on divisional goals and performance indicators.
- Analyze student data and feedback to drive program innovation and improvements.
- Lead family engagement initiatives and parent education strategies.
5. Organizational Leadership
- Directly oversee Lead Teachers and Assistant Directors to ensure operational unity.
- Contribute to school-wide policy, staffing, and strategic planning.
- Maintain "One School" alignment across Elementary, High School, and Inclusive Ed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of 6 years of successful teaching/leadership experience.
· Faith: A vibrant, active Christian faith and a commitment to the RCOA Statement of Faith.
· Certification: Valid BC Teaching Certificate (or eligibility).
· Education: Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or a related field (preferred).
· Experience: Proven experience in school administration or a significant leadership role within a Provincial Online Learning (POLS) or Distributed Learning environment.
· Skills: Exceptional communication, a tech-forward mindset for 2026 digital standards, and the ability to lead remote/hybrid teams effectively.

Hybrid Model: A modern balance of Work-from-Home flexibility and in-office collaboration at our Surrey, BC hub.
Compensation & Benefits:
· Pay: CA $89,000 - 116,000 annually
· Benefits: Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Pension plan.
