Job Description
Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools is recruiting a Handle with Care Facilitator. This part time position (0.05 FTE) will focus on delivering Handle with Care training sessions to Red Deer Catholic staff.
Requirements:
Handle with Care train-the trainer training is required.
The successful candidate will hold a Handle with Care Instructor certificate or show evidence of working towards obtaining this certification.
Qualifications:
Be comfortable working in a Faith filled environment
Strong knowledge of schools within Red Deer Catholic
Proven facilitation skills
Experience in challenging behaviors, particularly in a school setting.
Ability to attend Handle with Care Recertification training every year
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
Ability to work communicate effectively
Ability to physically train staff during all division professional development days
The successful candidate will be a strong team member, committed to supporting the values of Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools.
Compensation will be based on the successful candidate's experience, certifications, and qualifications.
