Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?RBC Dominion Securities is currently seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to join a well-established advisory team. You will deepen client relationships by offering sound advice and support to clients and to the advisory team. Developing and implementing the teams wealth management strategy for clients is the main focus of this role.What will you do?Support advisory team and clients through the wealth management process by gathering relevant information, documents, and questionnairesPrepare wealth and financial projections using wealth management and financial advice tools to provide a holistic view of client goals, priorities, and opportunitiesCoordinate activities with wealth management and insurance specialists and in-branch consultants: schedule, track progress, and follow upLiaise with branch management team for updates on and progress with wealth management initiativesCoordinate meetings and events with clients and prospects: help determine agenda and key topics, prepare documentation, and execute post-meeting workProvide proactive and high-end client service on the phone and in person, respond to client inquiriesIdentify opportunities for new business as well as among existing client base for asset consolidation or referralsWhat do you need to succeed?Must-have5 years of professional experience in the investment industryRegistered Representative (RR) license with IIROC (i.e., CSC, CPH, and WME)Financial planner diploma granted by the Institute of Financial PlanningBilingualism (English and French) required to serve our clients in the community with English-speaking needsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 appsUniversity degreeMeticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skillsWhats in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
