District Indigenous Success Teacher
qathet School District invites applications from qualified teachers for a temporary (1.00 FTE) District Indigenous Success Teacher position starting September 2, 2025.
The District serves the educational needs of approximately 3000 students through elementary and secondary (Gr. 8-12) schools and other educational programs and employs approximately 400 staff.

Qualifications
- Completion of a teacher education program through a recognized post secondary institution
- Current teaching certificate in BC
- Good level of familiarity with ʔayʔaǰuθəm and commitment to continue to develop fluency
- Knowledge of ɬaʔamɩn culture
Salary
The annual salary for teaching positions range from $61,415 to $109,520, with placement on the grid based on length of service, qualifications and FTE, in accordance with the collective agreement.
