Job Description

Our client, a growing and dynamic company based in Westmount, is looking to add an Accounting Technician to their team.

This Accounting Technician role in Westmount is a great opportunity for someone who’s looking to take the next step in their career and gain strong exposure to full cycle accounting. You will be involved in journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end, while working closely with a supportive and experienced team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and participate in month-end close
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Support full cycle accounting activities
• Support the accounting team with various financial tasks and reporting

Profile Sought

• Experience in accounting with exposure to full cycle accounting
• Functional bilingualism in English and French, as the role involves communication across Canada
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
