The Pukatawagan Education Authority invites applications for 2023-2024 school Year for the following position:
Sakastew School Principal
Pukatawagan is a community of the Mathias Colomb Cree Nation located in northern Manitoba near the Saskatchewan border (North-East of Flin Flon, South of Lynn Lake, West of Thompson) in an area of beautiful lakes, rivers, and forests.
Sakastew School is a K to12 school.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to pass background reference, criminal and child abuse registry.
* Previous experience working with Aboriginal students is an asset.
* Graduate or Post Graduate academic credentials in School Administration would be an asset.
* Educational Leadership experience in a First Nations setting would be an asset.
* Ability to speak Cree would be an asset.
* 2 current references.

Pukatawagan is located on the Churchill River also known as the Missinippi River. The population is over 3,000+ both on & off Reserve.

Salaries are paid on a biweekly basis by direct deposit.
