QUALIFICATIONS
* Full-time high school, post secondary student, or recent graduate, at least 16 years of age, legally entitled to work in Canada.
* Completion of, or current enrollment in, Creative Communications, Digital Media Design, Digital Production program education. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
* Proficiency in designing and developing for audio, video, web and other digital environments. Skilled in video editing systems such as Adobe Final Cut Pro, Filmora, etc. web-based design and content-management programs, social media tools, design apps such as Canva, and Microsoft Office.
* Comfortable learning new software as needed.
* Excellent communication, writing and production skills for various media (print, web, video, social media) are required. Accuracy in grammar, spelling and punctuation is imperative.
* Strong visual communicator and storyteller.
* Experience in marketing and or public relations environment.
* Province of Manitoba Class 5 Drivers Licence, and access to a personal vehicle to provide service within the Prairie Mountain Health
* Demonstrated ability to maintain effective interpersonal working relationships required.
* Demonstrated strong organizational, decision making and problem solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Maintain a professional manner at all times.
* Ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
* Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Digital Production Assistant will be responsible for developing digital products for programs and activities to support the vision and work of Prairie Mountain Health.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for creating high-end audio and visual materials that effectively communicate PMH programs and services with both internal and external audiences.

2. Capture and produce polished photo and video materials that support recruitment and retention of health care staff, including promotional, educational / training, testimonials, event promotion, and multiple other applications including web, digital marketing and social media.

3. Pre-production responsibilities include brainstorming, scripting, storyboarding, pitching, planning and scheduling

4. Production responsibilities include lighting, shooting, audio capture and directing

5. Post-production responsibilities include editing, color correction, audio editing, special effects / animation, exporting and rendering etc.

6. Conduct and direct on-camera interviews and manage various subjects

7. Produce professional photographs for promotional and advertisement purposes

8. Organize and maintain the library of photo and video assets

9. Providing support with visual media projects including (advertising, brochures, print materials, web materials, some video components, banners, signage, electronic signage) communication plans and campaigns. Upholds standards and guidelines for all print, website, events, and signage associated with the new region

10. Providing website support in the way of working with programs to compile pertinent information for website purposes.

11. Completes other duties as assigned.
