We are currently looking for a friendly and skilled Educational Assistant to join our team. If you are a compassionate, self-motivated individual with a specific interest in education, we encourage you to apply.
This is a part time position (0.2 FTE) at Veteran School to commence as soon as possible. You will be required to work 2 days per week for 2 periods per day (ie. 6 hours per week) assisting in the kindergarten room.
In this role, you will provide support to the classroom teacher by assisting a Kindergarten student with academic, behavioral, and social needs, while also contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to interact with students and staff in a meaningful and professional manner, and a commitment to presenting themselves as an organized and professional representative of the school, whether in person, by phone, or through written correspondence. Previous experience in a fast-paced, collaborative setting is considered an asset.
