These positions are currently posted internally to CUPE employees for 5 working days until 4:30 p.m. October 1st, 2025 as per the CUPE Local 5829 Collective Agreement.
We are currently looking for a responsible, hardworking individual with a passion for supporting students within the classroom. You will display flexibility, patience, sensitivity, enthusiasm, creativity and imagination. Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience working within a fast-paced, team environment. This is a full time, temporary leave replacement position (1.0 FTE) to commence Monday, October 20th, 2025. You will be required to work 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday (ie. 30 hours per week).
Al-Amal Academy is located in North West Calgary and provides an Islamic learning environment that offers an accredited program of studies compliant with the Alberta curriculum. Al-Amal Academy is a K-9 school that offers a wide variety of learning opportunities including regular classroom studies as well as foreign language, computer science and sports groups.
