Pembina Hills School Division invites applications for Temporary Summer Support in the P.A.W.S. (Promoting Activity, Wellness and Success) Program at Swan Hills School.This recreational program will run Monday through Thursday for 6 hours/day, from July 7, 2025 to August 14, 2025. The successful candidate must be willing to work in a collaborative team environment.

The Division

Pembina Hills School Division provides education to approximately 3800 students in 15 community schools in north central Alberta. PHSD also provides education to over 10,000 students from within and beyond our borders through our online school Vista Virtual School, as well as many students enrolled with other divisions across the province receiving service through the Alberta Distance Learning Centre. The School - Swan Hills School

Located approximately 200 km northwest of Edmonton, Swan Hills School, is a K-12 school with approximately 230 students offering programming focused on meeting the needs of every learner and building community. The school’s motto is “Together We Can; Together We Will!” Their mission is that “together, in cooperation, we will provide a diverse education which challenges individuals to achieve exemplary academics, character and citizenship”.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of and experience working with young children would be an asset
  • Able to work as a member of the team
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed
  • Willing to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Standard First Aid and Level C CPR
