Pembina Hills School Division invites applications for the position of a French Immersion Educational Assistant based out of École Westlock Elementary School.

The Position
The successful candidate must be a French speaking self-directed team player who is interested in working primarily one-on-one with complex needs children. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday at 6.5 hours per day following the school calendar. Duties to commence August 26, 2024.
Qualifications:
Experience working with complex needs, behaviorally challenged and students with autism would be an asset
Experience working with ECS students would be an asset
Preference will be given to applicants with an understanding of childhood development
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and adults
Able to work as a member of the school team
Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed
Fluent in the French language
SIVA Training would be an asset
First aid would be an asset
