Part-Time Educational Assistant
at Worsley Central School
Worsley is a small farming community in northern Alberta located about 170 kms west of Peace River. Worsley School serves students from grades K-12.
One Part -Time (0.50 f.t.e.) Educational Assistant is required commencing immediately and continuing until June 27, 2024. The successful candidate will be providing support to student(s) with exceptional needs.
Qualifications:
Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent
Experience and/or training working with students
Skills:
Ability to manage and organize programming and instruct in a one-on-one setting
Ability to work with children with varied age, skills, level, needs and abilities
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and a speech-language pathologist
Ability to work independently
Commitment and accountability
Requirements:
Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check

This is a union position under the CUPE Local 4839 Peace River School Support Staff.
Rate of Pay:
$ 20.16 to $ 25.29 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
