Our team of experts is committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients, ensuring the protection and enhancement of our water resources. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Conveyance Engineer to join our team in Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of conveyance systems, including water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Design and develop conveyance systems for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and design drawings.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis to support project designs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide technical support during construction, including site visits and inspections.
- Participate in project meetings and presentations.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration.
- 3+ of experience in the design and implementation of conveyance systems.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., SWMM, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, InfoWater, StormCAD).
- Strong technical knowledge of water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
