Job Description:
Organizes and prepares daily snacks and meals for students within our Developmental Education (DE) classrooms
Maintains cleanliness of preparation and eating areas
Laundry and dish washing
Ensures a safe and sanitized environment
Participate as an important member of the DE classroom team
Performs other duties, as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or working towards an OSSD
Preference will be given to those who have (2) years housekeeping and/or related experience
Good understanding of safe food handling and housekeeping practices
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Team player
Previous experience working with children with exceptionalities would be considered an asset
Up to date First Aid and CPR certification is preferred
Schedule: 3 hours per day/5 days per week (15 hours per week) during regular school hours typically late morning and over the lunch period.
Salary: Starting hourly wage is $23.32/hour plus 4% pay in lieu of vacation.
Start Date: This is a permanent position starting January 5, 2026.
