We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our team at Knoxdale Public School.
Knoxdale Public School is a French Immersion Centre located in a well-established community in Ottawa’s west end. At Knoxdale, staff, students and parents work together toward common goals - academic excellence, social and emotional development, and positive attitudes. Knoxdale has an enrolment of over 700 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6, representing diverse cultures and languages. Knoxdale Kindergarten program is proud to offer full day English/French Full Day Learning.

Please be advised that our order of consideration for permanent contracts is as follows: current internal permanent elementary contract teacher applicants, current elementary occasional teacher applicants, and then qualified external applicants.

Additional Information about this Position: You will be responsible for delivering the Physical Education program to three separate classes. Each week, you will have access to the gym for two sessions and will teach one session outdoors. Strong classroom management skills are essential, with an emphasis on building positive relationships and fostering high levels of student engagement to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all learners.
