Northern Lights Public Schools invites applications for the following positions:
C2425-36 Summer School Teachers - Bonnyville, Lac La Biche, and Cold Lake
Northern Lights Public Schools will be offering students the opportunity to accelerate their high school program and to take courses during the summer. Courses begin July 2, 2025 and end July 30, 2025. The hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday with course delivery provided on site from identified Northern Lights Schools in each area.

Please indicate your desired location and the course(s) you would consider teaching. Please note that the final list of courses offered is dependent on sufficient student demand. In previous years several levels of Math, Social Studies, Sciences, English, Physical Education, Work Experience and CTS courses were offered to students.
- Ensure effective planning, instructions and assessment for students in a Summer School environment
- Create the classroom conditions for students to achieve the outcomes as outlined in the Alberta Curriculum
- Interact positively and effectively with a diverse student and parent population
- A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Previous experience teaching the assigned courses/subjects is an asset
- The ability to achieve Alberta Education's Teaching Quality Standards
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
