Your Impact

As the Officer, Travel & Logistics (18-month temporary term), you will play a key role in supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable movement of personnel to and from Newmont’s remote operations. Your work will help ensure employees and contractors arrive safely, on schedule, and in compliance with company travel standards and site requirements. By coordinating complex travel arrangements, maintaining accurate logistics records, and responding to changing operational needs, you will contribute directly to business continuity, workforce readiness, and a positive employee experience.
This is a home-based position with an 8-hours a day, 5-days a week schedule, and requires a regular weekend coverage rotation.

As part of our team you will
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for employees and contractors, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and site transfers for remote mining operations.
  • Maintain accurate travel itineraries and logistics records to support workforce planning and emergency response requirements.
  • Monitor travel schedules, identify potential disruptions, and proactively resolve travel issues, delays, or accommodation changes.
  • Deliver travel-related information and guidance to employees, including site access requirements, travel expectations, and logistical updates.
  • Assist with group travel coordination for shutdowns, training programs, project mobilizations, and other operational initiatives.
  • Track travel-related costs and support compliance with company travel policies and approved budgets.
  • Liaise with airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and other vendors to secure cost-effective and efficient travel solutions.
  • Prepare travel and logistics reports, including travel trends, scheduling information, and policy compliance data.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of travel procedures, systems, and logistics processes to support operational efficiency and employee experience.
Prerequisites for your success in this role
  • Experience coordinating travel, logistics, workforce scheduling, or administrative operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Working knowledge of INNfinity or similar camp management software programs is highly desired.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules, and changing operational requirements.
  • Ability to problem-solve quickly and respond effectively to travel disruptions, emergencies, or last-minute changes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records, itineraries, and reporting documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing responsibilities independently.
  • Understanding of travel coordination in remote or industrial environments is considered an asset.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to safety and operational standards.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support a dynamic operational environment.
Your Work Environment
  • This is a remote position. You must have a dedicated home office or professional remote workspace with reliable high-speed internet suitable for regular virtual collaboration and business operations.
  • 8-hours a day, 5-days a week schedule.
  • This role requires a regular weekend coverage rotation; you must be available to work on weekends
  • Travel to Brucejack Mine may be required.

The Brucejack Operations team is now recruiting for the position of Officer, Travel & Logistics for an 18-month term, with a competitive base salary between $72,700 - $90,900/year. The offered base salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies, with consideration to internal equity. The expected salary range for this role is CAD $ 72,700 - $90,900 / year. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
