About Brucejack

Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

As a member of the Brucejack family, we put your health, comfort, and safety first. You’ll stay in private rooms with individual washrooms, enjoy balanced meals prepared by our exceptional culinary team, and have access to a 24-hour snack and sandwich bar. Your impact
You’ll play a key role in protecting water resources and supporting responsible mining by delivering groundwater monitoring and hydrogeological programs. Your work will help ensure environmental compliance, reduce risk, and support sustainable site operations.

As part of our team you will

• Support groundwater monitoring, sampling, and data analysis programs

• Assist with hydrogeological studies and reporting for mine planning and environmental assessments

• Work with site teams and consultants to support water management and regulatory compliance

• Contribute to water quality assessments, modelling, and permit documentation

• Help improve environmental performance through practical, site-based recommendations

Prerequisites for your success in this role

• Degree in hydrogeology, geoscience, engineering, or a related field

• Experience or strong interest in groundwater monitoring and environmental programs

• Ability to interpret hydrogeological data and contribute to technical reports

• Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and operational teams

• Willingness to work in site-based or remote environments as required

The expected salary range for this role is CA$94,100 - 125,400 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
