Your impact

As an Exploration Geologist, you will play a critical role in advancing exploration programs that support near‑ and long‑term resource discovery. Your geological insight, field execution, and data interpretation will directly influence exploration decisions, drill targeting, and performance outcomes helping convert geological opportunity into value.

As part of our team, you will
  • Execute exploration work programs from planning through delivery and follow‑up
  • Support drilling programs, including core logging, geological interpretation, and drillhole reporting
  • Design and support drilling programs, including core logging, geological interpretation, and drillhole reporting
  • Monitor drill progress and perform QA/QC on survey data and assay results
  • Support geological model development and interpretations to guide exploration decisions
  • Support the development of short term exploration plans based on results and field conditions
  • Support the preparation of work program proposals, weekly progress updates, and summary reports
  • Support planning and scheduling of exploration activities across weekly and monthly horizons
  • Conduct field inspections and participate in incident investigations when required
  • Review SOPs and technical standards, recommending updates where appropriate
  • Provide technical mentorship to Geologists‑in‑Training and core shed technicians
Prerequisites for your success in this role
  • Professional degree in Geological Science or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of ore deposit models, structural geology, lithology, alteration, and mineralization
  • Exposure to geological logging software or willingness and ability to be trained in 3D geological modeling and mapping software
  • Experience executing exploration programs through core logging (2 to 3 years) in field experience mapping and sampling.
  • Ability to analyze geological datasets and derive actionable insights
  • Proficiency with geological and modeling software such as Leapfrog, Deswik, and Acquire
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of exploration regulations, compliance requirements, and safety standards
  • Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., P.Geo, GIT) or eligibility for immediate registration
  • A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration
  • Comfortable with Field‑based work (FIFO experience)

The expected salary range for this role is CA $85,400.00 - $113,900.00. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
