About the Child:
This bright, curious, and sensory-seeking little boy who learns best through movement, hands-on exploration, and warm, supportive adult engagement. He thrives with play-based activities such as building, matching, pouring and sorting materials, outdoor movement, and exploring how things work. He enjoys predictable routines, visual supports, and gentle modeling during play. He is developing skills in communication, independence, and flexibility, and he benefits from patient, calm adults who can support him through transitions and moments of stress.
We are seeking a Behavior Interventionist who can offer a steady, grounded presence, enjoys movement-based and hands-on play, and is comfortable supporting communication (TouchChat). Someone patient, consistent, and creative who is able to follow his lead, expand his play, and support regulation with gentle guidance will be a strong fit.
This is a long-term position. We are a small independent school, preschool to grade 7. This boy is in preschool and has two siblings in the school. The family is very committed. You would be joining our staff team. Benefits package offered after one year.
