Reason for vacancy: Existing Headcount
Base Salary: $58,000 $87,000 CAD base pay annually Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
- Own financial controls and governance for the Maintenance Spare Parts (MRO) process, including inventory integrity, work order costing, obsolescence, and compliance with corporate policies.
- Analyze maintenancerelated overheads, identify cost and control risks, and clearly communicate root causes and corrective actions to operations leadership.
- Ensure spare parts are accurately issued to work orders in SAP, minimizing inventory adjustments, unsupported spend, and audit risk.
- Lead finance oversight of slowmoving and obsolete spare parts, including review, provisioning, and disposition.
- Support correct accounting and controls for capitalizable spare parts, where applicable.
- Contribute to periodend close, balance sheet reviews, and audit support related to maintenance and overhead accounts.
- Drive continuous improvement by linking process compliance to financial outcomes and cost discipline.
- Postsecondary education in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Experience in manufacturing finance, cost analysis, inventory controls, or internal controls (SAP experience preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risk, investigate variances, and influence crossfunctional partners.
- Clear communicator who can translate data into actionable insights for nonfinance stakeholders.
