What we offer:Job Responsibilities:
Supplier Quality & Development
· Communicate key project expectations and quality requirements to suppliers and internal teams.
· Develop, monitor, and maintain supplier micro plans to drive targeted improvements.
· Develop suppliers to AIAG and OEM-specific standards to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products.
· Utilize expert knowledge to help suppliers correct systemic or process-related deficiencies.
· Manage and track supplier corrective actions to closure.
Assessments & Performance Monitoring
· Conduct on-site supplier assessments as required to evaluate quality systems, processes, and compliance.
· Prepare written reports documenting assessment results, deficiencies, and required actions.
· Follow up on supplier responses and ensure timely completion of commitments.
· Track supplier incoming quality performance using established quality operating system metrics.
· Develop, manage, and support all supplier rating system deliverables, including continuous improvement initiatives.
Supplier Engagement & Improvement
· Schedule and lead Supplier Systemic Improvement Meetings (SSIM) with suppliers exhibiting performance concerns.
· Support APQP and Warranty functions as required to resolve supplier-related issues.
· Ensure effective communication and alignment with suppliers on quality expectations, standards, and improvement activities.
Standards, Compliance & Safety
· Adhere to MAFACT, IATF 16949, and OEM customer-specific requirements.
· Comply with ISO 14001 Environmental Standards and all company Health & Safety systems.
· Maintain excellent housekeeping and always promote a culture of safety.
Additional Responsibilities
· Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
Supplier Quality Performance
· Supplier Parts Per Million (PPM): Achieves and maintains targeted reductions in supplier defect rates through proactive development and corrective action engagement.
· Supplier Quality Performance: Ensures suppliers consistently meet quality, delivery, and compliance expectations based on established performance scorecards.
· Effectiveness of Supplier Systemic Corrective Actions: Drives timely, thorough, and sustainable corrective actions with measurable long-term improvements.
Protocol Lead Responsibilities (if applicable)
· Key Characteristic Audits: Performs audits on specific key characteristics as defined by the Quality Manager, ensuring compliance and process capability.
· Supplier Capability Analysis: Reviews, tracks, and analyzes on-site capability data, identifying trends and leading suppliers toward long-term improvements.
· Corrective Action & Strategy Follow-Up: Ensures prompt closure of corrective actions and implementation of long-term strategic solutions for chronic issues.
Reporting & Data Management
· Timely Reporting to Supplier Quality Manager: Provides ongoing updates on findings, risks, improvement opportunities, and recommendations.
· Data Tracking & Organization: Maintains accurate, organized records of supplier performance, assessments, capabilities, and improvement activity.
· MRB/DMN/QPF Management: Ensures timely follow-up and closure of Material Review Board actions, Deviation Management Notices, and Quality Problem Forms.
· Monthly Statistical Reporting: Prepares and presents monthly reports detailing supplier quality results, capability metrics, trends, and improvement plans.
Additional Responsibilities
· Performs other duties as assigned to support quality objectives, supplier development initiatives, and organizational priorities.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000
