What we offer:Job Responsibilities:
SALARY RANGE: $20 - $25 hourly. Rates are based on a schedule determined by the number of semesters completed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
GENERAL
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all information obtained, written or verbal, within the Human Resources Department.
- Develop an auditing timing process for our HR teams to monitor and update key employee data within our HRIS systems.
- Assist in organizing communications, training, workshops, and employee engagement activities.
- Prepare Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents for site-wide communications.
- Participate in HRIS projects and initiatives as needed.
- Review, update, and create documentation as required.
- Upholds the principles of the Magna Employee’s Charter, Magna’s Operational Principles, Magna’s Environmental Health and Safety Policy & Procedures, MML Quality Policy, Program Execution Process and Business Protocols. Must understand and respect the laws and cultures in countries which Magna conducts business & Magna compliances.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Involvement in financial matters is on a level of providing data
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY
- No direct supervision of incumbents and/or work units/departments
HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Ensure all safety and non-safety rules and regulations are followed
- Ensure adherence to established quality and housekeeping standards
- Review and adhere to MML’s health and safety, environmental, and quality standards, operating procedures, and policies
- Respond immediately to items brought to his/her attention with respect to hazards, defects or non-compliance issues
- Understand and uphold the policies that prohibit workplace violence and harassment
- In addition to the above, the duties include those specified under the Occupational Health & Safety Act
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma
- Currently enrolled in Human Resources or similar program at a post-secondary institution
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude.
- Highly motivated to work, learn, and teach.
- Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
- Professional Communication skills (written and verbal) preferred.
- Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- The majority of the job is performed in a standard office environment with minimal risk or harmful elements.
- Occasional visits to manufacturing facilities
- Job requires dealing with confidential and sensitive information and situations.
- Job requires handling of stressful situations
