Job Responsibilities:

Co-Ex-Tec is looking for a high-energy, Service Tooling student to assist with the disposition of customer tooling and processing customer documents by tracking approvals. Assist Sales Coordinator by gathering tooling information and by taking photos of tools for tracking

**Please note: Only candidates who are enrolled in a Coop program with their post secondary School will be considered

  • Assist Sales Coordinator with disposition of customer tooling.
  • Processing customer documents and tracking of approvals through process.
  • Assist Sales Coordinator by gathering tooling information. Assist by taking photos of tools for tracking.
  • Analyze information prior to submission to customers, including interaction with other plant personnel, providing direction and assistance.
  • Prepare documents for submission to customers specifically: tooling disposition requests, shipping documents for tools removed from company property.
  • Identifying tools from database, and updating database with all relevant tool information.
  • Assist Service team in staging of approved tooling for disposal prior to third party pick up and removal.
  • Documentation of tooling for service processes.
  • Upkeep of internal tooling database as tools are added/removed from service department/company property.
  • Complete project work as assigned.
  • Follow all work cell and/or department standardized work instructions/procedures.
  • Ensure compliance and enforcement of Customer Specific Requirements, QMS (IATF16949), Health and Safety (ISO 45001), EMS (ISO14001), and security (PIP) requirements.
  • Ensure, with the cooperation of other Co-Ex-Tec departments and Corporate that the division achieves and maintains the highest possible Customer rating for satisfaction; strive for zero defects in all areas of the business. Initiate and/or participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Attend authorized training in order to develop and/or maintain relevant job-related knowledge, techniques, skills, and/or certification.
  • May be required to carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, but is not limited to, varying levels of noise and/or temperature.
  • Any other reasonable duties required by Management

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in Post-Secondary Education
  • Sound computer skills, including knowledge of software in current use; strong ability in word processing and spreadsheet software; strong data entry skills; strong CMI skills
  • Basic knowledge of General Accounting Principles
  • Well-developed communication, organizational, interpersonal and analytical abilities
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing, an asset

Compensation: $20-23/hour
