What we offer:Job Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:
- Immediate, open position
- $90,000 - $105,000 annual compensation
- University Degree/College Diploma or equivalent experience required
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience with RPG on an IBMi Series Power9 (formerly AS400)
- Must have Customer Obsession ability and understanding
- Applied experience with some or all of the following: RPG/LE, COBOL/400, SQL, Query/400, QM Query,
- ASC Sequel, CLP/CLLE, Data Queue, FTP, IFS, DB2, Control-M, ICF, DBU, TAATOOL.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and working knowledge of JIRA and/or GITHUB.
- Ability to solve problems independently and creatively; solid troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with problem analysis, data mapping, use case modeling and preparing/creating system-level documentation.
- Functional understanding of Project Management principles, an asset.
- Familiarity with other ERP platforms, for example, but not limited to SAP, an asset
- Commitment to deliver quality customer service and work products.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral, in English)
- Proven ability and desire to work as part of a team
- Must be well organized with great attention to accuracy and details
MAIN DUTIES:
- Work closely with our production team to move requirements to results
- Collaborate and mentor other team members to deliver solutions that translate business needs into
- Technical outcomes
- Constantly challenge the status quo to uncover defects and correct deficiencies
- Find ways to improve operational delivery
- Perform program management tasks as related to preparation and delivery of technical results
- Create and maintain documentation as needed
- Strict adherence to Polycon and Magna Change Control methodology
- Participate in system design, build-out and upgrades as needed
- Support and/or lead system design and deployment as needed and able, relevant to programmer duties
- Other duties as assigned
