What we offer:Job Responsibilities:
- $66,000 to $71,000/year
- Forecast materials needs to supply chain and analyze in transit
- Assist Warehouse with co-ordination of storage locations
- Provide continuous improvement actions related to supply chain processes
- Analyze all internal transfer and receiving data entry
- Analyze forecasts, manage components required for production schedule
- Operation of daily, weekly and monthly MRPII/ERP processes
- Inventory control analysis for all WIP, cycle counts, variance analysis and problem resolution; preparation and keying of related inventory transactions
- Physical Inventory - preparation, counting/auditing counts, variance analysis
- Actively participate in procedure development and in implementing new processes, methods and software programs; perform system test work as needed to accomplish this
- Back up for other Material Analyst as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager
- Travel between plants for inventory counts, meetings, etc
- Attend Schedule meeting daily
- Complete runouts for past due or increases - escalate to Ops and Materials with direction
- Work with CSR on costs that need to be charged back to customer
- 1 year experience in inventory/production control, purchasing or scheduling, preferably in the automotive sector an asset
- Proficient in the use of Core MRP and inventory control functions within TRANS4M an asset
- Understanding and experience with Blackhawk Scan to Location an asset
