Lab Technician - Temporary

QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:

- Immediate, open temporary position (one year requirement)

- $28.88 - $32.04 per hour

- ASQ Certified Quality Technician preferred

- Good communication skills (both written and spoken)

- Previous laboratory experience preferred

- CMM operation and programming an asset

- Excellent organizational skills

- Must be computer literate (MS Word and Excel, email, etc)

- Must be self-motivated and have ability to work well under pressure

- Proven analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Must be accurate and detail-oriented

- Must be safety conscious and reliable

- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed

- Ability to manage time effectively and plan work with minimal supervision

MAIN DUTIES

- Tracks and validates sample submission requests

- Coordinates sample submission parts

- Prepares samples for testing

- Performs sample submission testing

- Collects, analyses and inputs data

- Prepares and submits informal test reports
