Location: Central Office, North Battleford

Start Date: Beginning of the 2026-2027 School Year

Salary: STF Salary Grid plus 10% of their salary payable of their classification.

About the Role

We are seeking an Early Years Learning Consultant who will champion high-quality early learning programs and promote literacy development for students in Kindergarten to Grade 3. This role provides leadership, coaching, and professional development to educators, ensuring alignment with Saskatchewan’s Play and Exploration: Early Learning Program Guide and Inclusive Education principles.



What You’ll Do

  • Mentor and coach educators in best practices for early learning and literacy.
  • Manage PreK programs, support program development and smooth transitions for young learners.
  • Design and deliver engaging professional learning opportunities.
  • Supporting teachers/administrators in collecting, analyzing, interpreting and responding to data.
  • Collaborate with schools, families, and community partners.
  • Support additional priorities such as reconciliation, curriculum implementation and assessment, as required.



What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor of Education with a Saskatchewan teaching certificate.
  • Preference given to those with a Master of Education or willingness to obtain within 2 years.
  • Other Educational Certificates beneficial (i.e., Treaty Catalyst Training, Leadership Courses Principal’s Short Course, Facilitators Series, Early Childhood Education Certificate, etc.)
  • Experience: 3-5 years in early childhood education or primary teaching.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of child development, inclusive practices, and the ability to build relationships and promote professional growth with teachers across the school division.

Additional Requirements

  • Criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the division.
