Position Summary
The Specialty Sales Representative is a subject matter expert responsible for promoting and selling specialized diagnostic products from their assigned portfolio to Medical Specialists within an assigned territory. Reporting to the Senior Manager, B2B Sales, this role develops strong relationships with Specialists to maximize adoption of Life Labs’ testing services.
This is a field-based specialty sales role, supporting a portfolio that includes neurology and memory clinics, oncology , and fertility care. The Specialty Sales Representative partners closely with physicians, clinical teams, and internal stakeholders, acting as both a trusted clinical resource and strategic sales partner.
In addition, this role supports cross-functional partners by providing deep clinical and product expertise and participating in client meetings where advanced technical knowledge is required.

What You’ll Do
Portfolio Performance Management
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth across a multi-product specialty portfolio, including neurology, oncology, and fertility diagnostics
- Develop and execute territory and client business plans aligned to portfolio priorities and market opportunities
- Ensure compliance with sales automation platforms (Salesforce, segmentation tools, reports, dashboards), mandatory training, and goal setting
- Define, monitor, and track leading and lagging KPIs to ensure accountability and achievement of sales targets
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and specialty events (e.g., oncology, neurology, fertility) on behalf of LifeLabs, as required
- Organize and deliver product presentations and promotional activities across diverse medical and specialty clinic settings
- Provide timely feedback to underperforming accounts and proactively identify risks to achieving sales quotas
- Manage territory budgets and contribute to pipeline development
- Partner with Sales Leadership to review performance, forecast results, and refine territory strategies
Customer Relationship Optimization
- Deliver on the LifeLabs brand promise with every client interaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Medical Specialists, including neurologists, geriatricians, oncologists, fertility specialists, and clinic leadership
- Leverage existing relationships to expand testing services within named and strategic accounts
- Serve as a clinical and product expert, supporting complex discussions around test utilization, patient pathways, and clinical value
- Bring the Voice of Customer (VOC) to Portfolio Lifecycle Management and Product Development teams to inform decision-making and mitigate reputational risk
- Develop and deliver tailored product presentations and educational sessions for physicians and clinical teams
- Identify and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the healthcare community
- Utilize LifeLabs CRM and productivity tools to plan sales calls, document interactions, and capture new opportunities
- Respond to client inquiries and concerns in a timely manner and escalate feedback to support service and test development
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of sales or field experience within medical, diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or specialty healthcare settings
- Demonstrated success in a direct, field-based sales role, ideally supporting multiple products or therapeutic areas
- Experience selling into specialist physician audiences (e.g., neurology, oncology, fertility, or comparable specialties) strongly preferred
- Knowledge of traditional and emerging medical and diagnostic technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate clinical concepts into value-based discussions
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously in a territory-based role
- Strong facilitation, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams

What We Offer:
Salary Range: $79,900- $101,800 CAD annually (commensurate with experience)
