Description
Position Summary:
At LifeLabs, we’re focused on improving lives through the work we do — and that starts with our people. We’re currently looking for a Patient Services Centres Coordinator to support our team in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, quality, and safety standards across our network.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and is passionate about contributing to patient care from behind the scenes. In this position, you’ll also provide valuable support to supervisors during planned absences, helping to maintain consistency and service excellence across locations.
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll support a variety of operational, quality, and compliance tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and participating in operations reviews and audits (e.g., PWT playbook, RCIP, customer service)
- Conducting internal audits and supporting processes related to quality and safety (e.g., NCE investigations, EHS, first aid)
- Supporting employee competency assessments and documenting direct observations
- Assisting in the preparation and review of quality checklists, controlled documents, and internal quality assessments (e.g., DAP/IQMH)
- Preparing documentation for new hires, onboarding, and compliance training
- Maintaining training files, matrices, and tracking systems (e.g., Medialab, MY DEV)
- Coordinating key administrative tasks including supply orders, building inspection records, and minor work orders
- Participating in regular team meetings and supporting broader site-level initiatives
- Supporting and maintaining documentation for SOP updates and revisions
- Performing other related duties that contribute to the overall success of the team
What You'll Bring:
- At least 1 year of recent experience, ideally in a healthcare or medical lab environment.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent organization and time management.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to also work independently.
- A positive, professional approach to teamwork and customer service.
Additional Requirements:
- Availability: The successful candidate must be available to work Monday through Saturday between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Flexibility is essential, as schedules and locations may vary based on operational needs.
- Travel: This role supports multiple sites across the Simcoe Muskoka Region, including Innisfil, Barrie, Borden, Orillia, Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Penetanguishene, Owen Sound, and Hanover. As such, access to a reliable vehicle is required for travel between sites as needed.
Why Join Us?
At LifeLabs, you’ll be part of a team that’s deeply committed to purpose-driven work. This role is more than coordination — it’s about creating stability, enabling care, and supporting people in doing their best work.
