We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of NDT Inspector II (Radiography). The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

- Radiographic testing (RT) - X-Ray Conventional Film and Digital

- Interpretation of NDE specifications

- Disposition of materials in writing

- Visual, non-destructive and dimensional inspections (vernier calipers, height gauges, dial indicators etc.)

- Quality assurance testing and reporting

- Tracking material status

- Performing other testing requirements during various states of the repair process

- Working to defined standards and methodologies

- Applying test criteria

- Support in developing NDT procedures

Key Skill Requirements:

- Excellent visual accuracy skills

- Strong Inter-personal and inter-departmental communication skills

- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment

- Understanding of engineering specifications, drawings and written reports

- Problem solving skills

- Ability to effectively follow health & safety and quality processes and policies

Key Experience/Education:

- Graduate of a 2 year college level program in Technology – NDE or similar program an asset

- Minimum 2 years of experience in NDE is required

- Level II Certification (CGSB, ASNT or equivalent) is required or sufficient background enabling the attainment of certification required (NAS410 qualification accepted)

- Interest/experience in the nuclear or aerospace industry preferred

- Familiarity with ISO/AS quality systems are an asset

- Qualification in other NDT methods is an asset
