You are a skilled civil infrastructure modeller with strong experience using Civil 3D and digital modelling tools to support civil infrastructure, heavy civil and mining projects.In this role, you will be part of Ledcor’s Integrated Digital Services (IDS) team, working with project and office staff to support digital modelling, coordination, and model-based project delivery. You bring strong coordination and communication skills when working with engineers, survey teams, and construction staff, and have experience producing model-based quantity takeoffs (QTO) and other project deliverables.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D civil infrastructure models (roads, bridges, earthworks, utilities, etc.) from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Produce construction drawings and deliverables from digital models
- Perform model-based quantity take-offs, volume calculations, and cost-related analysis to support estimating and project planning
- Support model-based project coordination with engineering, survey, and construction teams
- Identify and resolve modelling or design discrepancies in collaboration with the project team
- Gather and incorporate design and survey information from project stakeholders into the digital model environment
- Conduct clash detections and assist in developing solutions with the project team
- Integrate and manage 3D laser scan/point cloud data for modelling and project coordination
- Support digital document management and model control processes, including file organization and version tracking
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in civil infrastructure modelling, with strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D. Experience with Trimble Business Center, Navisworks and parametric modelling is beneficial
- Educational background in civil engineering, surveying, geomatics, or a related discipline is considered an asset
- Experience supporting civil infrastructure or heavy civil construction projects
- Experience with Dynamo, Python scripting or workflow automation tools is considered an asset
- Experience developing 4D simulations using Navisworks, Fuzor, Synchro or similar tools is considered an asset
- Knowledge of BIM implementation practices is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in models, drawings, and project data
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a team environment, self-motivated, and eager to learn and take on new challenges
Work Conditions:
- Office and site-based position
- 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday
Compensation
$72,400.00 - $99,550.00This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
