Description

As the Equipment Coordinator you will play a pivotal role as a primary point of contact for addressing general administrative inquiries and providing department-specific information. Tasked with supporting the Shared Service Equipment group, in this role you will oversee equipment acquisitions and perform diverse administrative functions crucial to daily operations. Additionally, as the Equipment Coordinator you contribute to broader initiatives aimed at refining procedural workflows within the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support LEG Business Partners with a range of administrative tasks, including digital unit setup, records management, quote review, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations and procedural compliance
  • Oversee telematics providers, ensuring accurate billing and effective data management
  • Manage unit setup and removal within online dashboards, maintaining accurate records and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Contribute to special projects focused on technology, sustainability, and innovation initiatives
  • Provide administrative support while leveraging expertise to achieve project objectives and drive organizational improvements
  • Act as a resource for junior coordinators, offering guidance and support on administrative processes and business unit-specific information

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • Experience working with enterprise management software systems
  • Strong technical reading and writing skills
  • Background in construction, manufacturing, mechanical, or equipment-related roles
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Technical knowledge of, or experience with, heavy equipment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with JD Edwards or a similar ERS system is considered an asset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
