Description

We’re looking for a Cathodic Protection (CP) Surveyor to support the integrity and reliability of our client’s buried pipeline and facility assets across Canada. In this field-based role, you’ll perform CP surveys, collect and analyze data, and help ensure corrosion control systems are operating effectively. As part of a nationwide maintenance program, you’ll play a key role in protecting critical infrastructure while working alongside experienced crews in a safety-focused environment.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Travel to field locations to perform cathodic protection surveys including annual test lead surveys, CIS, diagnostic testing, and commissioning work

  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot survey equipment (multimeters, data loggers, pipe locators) and complete minor test lead/post repairs

  • Locate and stake pipelines while ensuring all work meets client specifications and industry standards

  • Support CP remedial work and other field activities as required

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of cathodic protection or related field experience is an asset

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract

  • NACE CP1 or CP2 certification and Enform Rectifier training considered assets

  • Strong communication, computer (MS Word/Excel), and independent work skills

Work Conditions:
  • Extensive travel and outdoor work in varying weather conditions

  • Ability to walk 5+ km per day in rough terrain

  • Monday-Friday schedule with potential overtime and weekend work

  • Frequent overnight stays away from home may be required; CLAC benefits provided
