Hiring for Remote Locations Across Canada - Apply today!!!Ledcor is actively hiring Drillers, Blasters, and Equipment Operators for civil and mining projects across Canada. These are steady, long-term roles with solid crews, reliable work, and clear direction.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead blast preparation and loading to keep production on schedule
- Direct the blast crew to execute safe, efficient, on-time blasts
- Load, tie-in, and fire patterns to plan for consistent fragmentation and diggability
- Track blast results and production outcomes
- Manage magazines and materials to support continuous operations
- Operate safely and work independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
- Valid Newfoundland & Labrador Blaster’s Certificate or eligible to work towards obtaining
- Experience blasting in surface mining or quarry operations
- Strong knowledge of blast loading, tie-ins, and initiation systems or a willingness to learn
- Ability to read and execute blast plans and loading instructions
- Production-focused, safety-driven, and able to work independently
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
- Ability to work rotations, shifts, and overtime
- Valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on uneven terrain
- Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to work up to 12 hour rotating day/night shifts in all weather conditions
Work Conditions:
- Travel allowances provided from anywhere in Canada
- Living out allowance or camp available
- Various shifts available
Compensation
$38.00 - $40.32 per hourThis is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
