Lakeland Catholic School Division Invites applications for a Vice Principal of Dr. Bernard Brosseau Middle School Bonnyville, Alberta Lakeland Catholic School Division is seeking an energetic, collaborative, and creative educational leader to join our school-based administrative team for the period of August 19, 2024 to June 27, 2025, with the opportunity for a continuous contract extension thereafter. Situated amidst the picturesque landscape of northeastern Alberta, Dr. Bernard Brosseau Middle School stands as a beacon of educational excellence, catering to an approximate 315 students, encompassing Grades 5 to 8. The ideal candidate will be entrusted with: Create an environment wherein a faith community is fostered as an integral component of the school; Demonstrate active participation in parish life and the ministry of the church; Nurture a collaborative approach in working together with staff, students, the school council, and the overall community; Support and uphold a strong vision for achieving academic success for every student; Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills conducive to enhancing trust and the creation of a sense of family within the staff, the school, and the community; Support inclusive educational practices to maximize educational opportunities for all students; Be supportive, proactive, and assistive in the achievement of goals in a service-oriented environment; Demonstrate proficiency in The Marks of an Excellent Catholic Leader; Demonstrate proficiency in The Leadership Quality Standards; Completion of a Bachelor of Education Degree; Previous experience with Inclusive Education would be considered an asset.
