Lakeland Catholic School Division invites passionate educators to apply for a Classroom Support Teacher (CST) position at École Dr. Bernard Brosseau Middle School, a vibrant Grade 5-8 school serving approximately 330 students in Bonnyville, Alberta.
About the Role
The CST plays a pivotal leadership role in supporting inclusive learning within the school community. Working collaboratively with staff, families, and external partners, the CST is responsible for coordinating and enhancing inclusive education services, ensuring all students-regardless of ability-are given the opportunity to succeed and thrive.
This 1.0 FTE position includes:
0.50 FTE as CST - enhancing inclusive education programming, supporting staff with differentiated instruction, collaborating on Individual Program Plans (IPPs), and facilitating access to specialized services.
0.50 FTE as Classroom Teacher - teaching assignment to be determined based on qualifications and school needs.
An educational background or practical experience in Inclusive Education will be considered a strong asset.
