Assumption Jr/Sr High School takes pride in nurturing approximately 630 students from Grades 7 through 12. The ideal candidate will be tasked with: Create an environment wherein a faith community is fostered as an integral component of the school. Demonstrate active participation in parish life and the ministry of the church Nurture a collaborative approach in working together with staff, students, the school council, and the overall community. Support and uphold a strong vision for achieving academic success for every student. Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills conducive to enhancing trust and the creation of a sense of family within the staff, the school, and the community. Support the coordination and delivery of Inclusive Education programming in the school. Support teachers and students using a broad range of educational supports and community services to ensure optimal success of all students. Be supportive, proactive, and assistive in the achievement of goals in a service-oriented environment. A minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience with Inclusive Education would be considered an asset. Demonstrate proficiency in The Marks of an Excellent Catholic Leader. Demonstrate proficiency in The Leadership Quality Standards. Completion of a Bachelor of Education Degree.
