Lakeland Catholic School Division Invites applications for a full-time Assistant Principal/ Classroom Support Teacher Assumption Jr/Sr High School Cold Lake, Alberta Lakeland Catholic School Division seeks an inspiring, team-player, and forward-thinking educational leader to enrich our school-based administrative team from August 19, 2024 , to June 27, 2025 , with the potential for a continuous contract extension. Situated amidst the serene landscapes of east-central Alberta, Cold Lake harmonizes picturesque landscapes, thrilling outdoor pursuits, and a rich military heritage. Assumption Jr/Sr High School takes pride in nurturing approximately 630 students from Grades 7 through 12. The ideal candidate will be tasked with: Create an environment wherein a faith community is fostered as an integral component of the school. Demonstrate active participation in parish life and the ministry of the church Nurture a collaborative approach in working together with staff, students, the school council, and the overall community. Support and uphold a strong vision for achieving academic success for every student. Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills conducive to enhancing trust and the creation of a sense of family within the staff, the school, and the community. Support the coordination and delivery of Inclusive Education programming in the school. Support teachers and students using a broad range of educational supports and community services to ensure optimal success of all students. Be supportive, proactive, and assistive in the achievement of goals in a service-oriented environment. A minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience with Inclusive Education would be considered an asset. Demonstrate proficiency in The Marks of an Excellent Catholic Leader. Demonstrate proficiency in The Leadership Quality Standards. Completion of a Bachelor of Education Degree.
