Overview

At KPMG, you will be part of a diverse and dedicated team of problem‑solving professionals united by a common goal: turning information into opportunities for our clients and communities around the world.

We are seeking a Consultant to join our team specializing in business intelligence, data analytics, and risk management.

You will participate in a variety of engagements, including the implementation of analytical solutions, data analysis in complex financial contexts (investigations, litigation, risk), and the gradual integration of artificial intelligence solutions.


What you will do

  • Design and implement dashboards and business intelligence solutions
  • Collect, clean, and structure data
  • Contribute to analyses in investigation, audit, or forensic contexts
  • Identify anomalies, trends, and risk indicators
  • Implement automated reporting and analytics processes
  • Contribute to the integration and adoption of artificial intelligence tools
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience, gained through employment or internships
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of Python or R (asset)
  • Solid understanding of analytics and data management concepts
  • Interest in artificial intelligence and its application
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • High standards for quality and accuracy
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Good communication skills
  • Team‑oriented mindset
  • Proactive and curious
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

The selected candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, writing, and simplification skills in English, with the ability to present complex strategic topics to a diverse range of stakeholders located in English-speaking regions of Canada, such as Ontario.
